CDRsocial

CDRsocial

A workspace for agencies and brands to plan, approve, schedule, and publish social content — including TikTok — from one place.

What the product is

CDRsocial is a social-media operations platform run by CDR General Services. Invited teams use it to write posts, attach media, send work for internal or client review, place it on a calendar, and publish to the social accounts they have authorized. It is a professional tool for organizations, not a consumer social network and not a personal-use app.

Each company workspace keeps its own people, brands, media library, calendar, and connected accounts. A person who works for several clients switches workspaces without mixing their content. There is no public sign-up: an administrator invites colleagues by email. People who already have an account sign in here.

What you can do

Compose once, adjust per network

Write a caption and attach images or video. Override the text or media for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, Pinterest, or Threads when a network needs its own version.

Approve before anything goes out

Editors request a review. Approvers comment on the piece, including on a shared link that does not require a CDRsocial account. Nothing is scheduled until the workspace rules say it may be published.

Calendar and board

See the week or month at a glance, drag a post to another slot, and move ideas across a kanban from draft to published. The same piece stays linked to the task that produced it.

Media library

Store images and video for the brand, generate thumbnails, and reuse files across posts. When a network must download a file to publish, CDRsocial serves a short-lived signed URL to that network only.

Insights

Pull performance from connected accounts so the team can see what already went out, not only what is scheduled. Reports can be exported for clients.

Roles that match the work

Owners, editors, reviewers, and contributors get different permissions. Connecting a social account and publishing to it are explicit actions by someone who is allowed to do them.

How publishing to TikTok works

A workspace member who is allowed to manage social accounts starts a TikTok connection from CDRsocial. TikTok shows its own authorization screen (Login Kit). We receive tokens and the public profile details TikTok provides for that account. We never see the password typed on TikTok.

To publish, the member opens the composer, attaches a video that meets TikTok’s rules, writes the caption, selects the authorized TikTok account as a destination, and chooses whether the post is public or private to the creator as TikTok allows. They either publish immediately or pick a time. At that moment — and not before — CDRsocial sends the video through TikTok’s Content Posting API on their behalf.

We only upload content the user submitted for that account. They can disconnect TikTok in settings, which stops further publishing and drops the stored tokens. Delivery still depends on TikTok: a video may be delayed, shown as private, or rejected by TikTok’s own rules.

Other networks

The same workspace can connect Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Pinterest, and Threads, each through that platform’s authorization. Captions and media can be shared or overridden per network. Insights are read from the APIs those platforms expose for the accounts you connect.
